Anonymous: Hack didn't come from North Korea (no shit)

Sony. Hacked.  North Korea. FBI. White house. Obama. "National Security".

Can YOU find the logic in any sentence that could be created from the words listed above?

How about this:  Sony was hacked in 2011. It was not considered a "National Security" issue.

Sony Hacked 2011

Then Sony was hacked in 2012.  It wasn't considered a "National Security" issue either.

Sony Hacked 2012

Yet now, in 2014, when Sony gets Hacked, the US calls it a matter of "National Security". And blame it on North Korea.  Not just hackers from North Korea, but on the North Korean government itself.

.... All because of a comedy movie.  Not just a movie, but one that is apparently so bad, that one main stream media commentator laughed and said that North Korea may have just saved the world from watching the worse movie ever.

I mean, that a county's government might get pissed off at a movie that has been put out by hollywood that puts them in a bad light - hell that has happened many times.  A movie gets banned and that government puts out a statement declaring that they are not happy with the movie, yadda yadda yadda...  But threaten the US with acts of war over a movie?  Seriously?  Even the Vatican didn't get that wordy when the Last Temptation of Christ, Passion, and Dogma were released.  They didn't like it, and made public statements against the movies, but that was about it.

So one has to wonder..... why is it North Korea who hacked Sony this time?  Why aren't they looking at the Hackers who have taken responsibility for the hack?  You know... the guys that actually have the ability to pull off something like this?!?  But no no no, it's all about North Korea.

.....really?  Really?  REALLY?

The US claiming "National Security" over a freakin movie company getting hacked is ridiculous enough, but to now obviously lie and blame North Korea for it, seems completely ludicris.  Unless of course there was something else that was hacked in Sony... Unless there is something VERY damning to the US government that was uncovered in all of those emails.....  Unless of course, the US government has an agenda that they are pushing against North Korea.

Remember what I keep talking about: What are the last freely held Central banks in the world?

  • Iran- whom the US are currently pushing very strongly on the Nuclear issues, and hiding the proof that the CIA is responsible for destroying the Iranian government in 1953. Whom the US government has done everything possible to blame for just about anything bad that has happened in the world. OH! and who else hates Iran?  Saudi Arabia. Saudi who is seriously pissy that Iran's oil production is about to outstrip theirs? Saudi, the head of OPEC, the guys who just sent the world into a tail spin due to oil prices and production? Who are the Saudi's super cozy with?  The US government- especially the Bush Clan.  Who went to war against Iraq with zero evidence that Iraq was ever involved in any way with the (makebelieve) terrorist group Alqaeda? George Bush Jr.  Iraq who also had just discovered more oil (enough to take over Saudi's first place position), and more gold that Fort Knox ever held even when it HAD gold in it.  Iraq, who had one of the very last free standing central banks in the world. The Central bank of Iraq that was the very first thing Bush took over when they marched into Iraq. Remember who they were supposedly looking for?  That Alqaeda terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden who was the son of a rich Saudi, born in Saudi Arabia and trained by the CIA .  Who ran the CIA during this time?  George Bush Sr

  • Cuba.  Who has pretty much just capitulated to the US. I highly recommend reading this article that came out today:  http://orientalreview.org/2014/12/22/the-obama-raul-deal-exposed-how-cuba-surrendered-without-a-shot/
  • North Korea, Who, as I said, the US has been blaming for everything under the sun, in the hopes of finding a way to convince the American public that the US government should go after them. So far, all of their attempts have failed and North Korea is just too far away, and too close to China for the US to try anything even remotely "militaristic", so they continue with their blatant propaganda campaign.
  • The forth and last free standing central bank is the one that I have been working on to confirm yea, or nay, for the past year:  Syria.  Gee!  Yet another target of the US.
  • The remaining central banks that WERE freestanding and not under Cabal control: Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq.  Isn't that interesting, eh?

Just exactly what was in those Sony emails that has the White House so up in arms?  Or is this yet the next attempt to push the public into accepting yet another war?

.... Or is it all just a distraction?

"Look! Look over there!!  Something shiny!!!!"  Hollywood AND politics AND terrorist threats?  That's gotta be a winning combination to keep the public distracted from the fact that the Big Banks are about to steal all their money and the collapse of the global economy is happening right under their noses.  Hell, Christmas is only going to distract people for another 3 or 4 days,  and the Super Bowl is still weeks away....... gotta do something to keep the people looking at the dancing  girls in the bikinis and the latest Hollywood scandals.

Nothing to see here.  Move along.  Move along.

Side note: This is the link sent to the FBI by the Guardians of Peace.... I listened to about 30 seconds of it and then my brain started to drip out of my ears.... yes, the music is that bad- I won't even embed it here, if you're adventurous enough you can watch it at this link:

Sony Hackers Guardians of Peace Troll FBI, Anonymous Convinced Hack Didn't Come From North Korea

Elena Scotti/The Daily Beast
The hacking group that’s taken credit for breaching Sony’s servers and leaking their files online posted a message online Saturday mocking the FBI’s investigation.
According to a statement issued by the FBI on December 19, which was then echoed by President Obama during his year-end press conference, “the North Korean government is responsible” for hacking Sony’s servers, leaking sensitive company data online, threatening movie theaters that choose to exhibit the satire The Interview, and ultimately succeeding in getting the Kim Jong Un assassination comedy’s release pulled.

The FBI presented the following as evidence:

“Technical analysis of the data deletion malware used in this attack revealed links to other malware that the FBI knows North Korean actors previously developed. For example, there were similarities in specific lines of code, encryption algorithms, data deletion methods, and compromised networks.
The FBI also observed significant overlap between the infrastructure used in this attack and other malicious cyber activity the U.S. government has previously linked directly to North Korea. For example, the FBI discovered that several Internet protocol (IP) addresses associated with known North Korean infrastructure communicated with IP addresses that were hardcoded into the data deletion malware used in this attack.
Separately, the tools used in the SPE attack have similarities to a cyber attack in March of last year against South Korean banks and media outlets, which was carried out by North Korea.”
Meanwhile, North Korea has maintained their stance that they weren’t involved in the crippling cyber-attack, and have proposed a joint investigation with the U.S. authorities in finding the culprits, warning of “grave consequences” if America continues to blame the Hermit Kingdom for the hacking.
On Saturday afternoon, Guardians of Peace, the hacking group that’s so far claimed responsibility for wreaking havoc on Sony, posted a message online mocking the FBI’s investigation.
It is as follows:

“By GOP
The result of investigation by FBI is so excellent that you might have seen what we were doing with your own eyes.
We congratulate you success.
FBI is the BEST in the world.
You will find the gift for FBI at the following address.”
Then, they included a link to the following video titled “you are an idiot!”—essentially Rickrolling the FBI. The video opens with some words in Japanese, before cutting to a series of gyrating animated bodies shrieking, "You are an idiot!"

Video screenshot
While the FBI, President Obama, and George Clooney seem thoroughly convinced that the Guardians of Peace are the work of Pyongyang—the name “Guardians of Peace” comes from a quote used by former President Richard Nixon describing South Korea—many hackers online have questioned the allocation of blame from Day One, including former Lulzsec hacker turned government information Sabu, who maintains they “don’t have the technical capabilities,” and Anonymous, who wrote, “we all know the hacks didn't come from North Korea,” and threatened to launch further hacks against Sony if they don't release the film online.

Some of the world’s leading cybersecurity experts have also questioned whether North Korea is responsible for hacking Sony, claiming a decided lack of evidence or that it came from a group posing as North Korea as misdirection, such as Brett Thomas, chief technology officer of Redwood City, California-based online services company Vindicia:
President Obama, meanwhile, seems quite adamant in believing the narrative that North Korea and its leader, Kim Jong Un, were so offended by the satire The Interview, a Seth Rogen and James Franco flick which portrays the Dear Leader being assassinated, that they launched a cyber-attack on Sony as retribution, and threatened a “proportional” response by the U.S.
“The FBI announced today and we can confirm that North Korea engaged in this attack,” President Obama announced during his year-end presser on Friday. “I think it says something interesting about North Korea that they decided to have the state mount an all-out assault on a movie studio because of a satirical movie starring Seth Rogen and James Flacco [Franco]. I love Seth and I love James, but the notion that that was a threat to them I think gives you some sense of the kind of regime we’re talking about here.”
He added, “They caused a lot of damage, and we will respond. We will respond proportionally, and we’ll respond in a place and time and manner that we choose. It’s not something that I will announce here today at a press conference.”

July 31 Update: "Nothing is happening".... *snort* buhahhahahah!!! Oh, and more info about Iraq

As I mentioned yesterday in the Charts article, the most awesome research team in the world have dragged some brilliant pieces of information and links into the spot light.  I haven't been able to even remotely get the info/links put together in any semblance of organization, but a few of these pieces just absolutely needed to be put out here now.

Edited about 3 minutes after publishing to say:  I'm sorry or all the formatting mess- I have no idea what the hell is wrong with my blogger account, but it's seriously having mental issues for the past 3 days.  I'll try to get it sorted out.
D

First off, for all those that love to chant "Nothing is Happening" while sticking their fingers in their ears and singing "lalalalalallalalalala I can't hear you!!!"- for you guys, I love you, but I know that nothing that anyone shows you will make you see and hear the truth of what's happening around you.  But seriously?........ you fingers have GOT to be getting tired by now!!

Here is a little update on the

Courtesy Notice Success Story -- $32,194 Loan Waived by Key Bank

Updated w/Documets: Courtesy Notice Success Story -- $99,692.21 Forgiven by Chase Bank

This is from one of the facebook groups and was sent to me on skype:

BIG NEWS!!!! From XXXXX CVAC 101
So, as a success story I would like to report that as of today after sending to the Vice President of the alleged Chase Bank ( who just happen to send me a letter in May with his name and signature on it to sell my home in foreclosure) was a Determination of Funding Letter, 1 Courtesy Notice and 2 invoices totaling 9,000 pieces of 99.9 silver, I received today a letter from the alleged Chase Bank that the lien on my mortgage has been released and discharges the original contract, whereas I am now responsible for the property tax and insurances, and can do what I dam well please with what I want to do with it.
This was a wonderful and fun exercise in which in my heart was the right thing to do to show others that what was being done to all of us was wrong. I needed to take a stand here in Detroit as I watched neighborhoods and communities being torn apart and become inhumane as people were being forced out of their homes, their furnishing thrown in the street and in dumpsters, causing some beautiful homes to be victims of vandalization, with property values dropping like flies, and mortgage payments going through the roof with LIBOR the ARM’s deal The home’s stood empty and all the love was torn from the structures.
What could I do?
With the tools that were given to us by the OPPT crew II used them all, Courtesy Notices, The Determination of Funding letter, the invoices, the court templates etc, I edited them and used them sending all the love and light I could to float above and through each word, with good intent to bring awareness to every person whose eyes read it, and whose heart it may touch.
I am now going to open a Dream Weavers Center to help and show as many people who have eyes to see and ears to hear where their value is, as we are the value and always have been, but it was never taught but was hidden so very well.
Many of the people of family and friends who thought I had lost my mind, want to now join in to see what is going on with formerly OPPT now I/UV to Opt out of the old slavery system and it is done. I say come one come all we are in for another ride but this time there will be more of us. We are Eternal Essence Embodied absent limits !!!!! (*)

Many more stories can be read at  http://i-uv.com/ and Brian is always updating his blog with new stories of success as well.

This was one of my fav bits on news this morning- I giggled for almost an hour.  Yep, tell me that "nothing is happening" when members of the Saudi Royal Family are stepping down and openly talking about the corruption and  the "suffering under the Al Saud regime"..... yea.... nothing to look at here.

Prince Khalid Bin Farhan Al-Saud has announced his defection from Al Saud royal family through a statement, calling on other princes to break their silence and reveal the truth for sake of God. - See more at: http://en.alalam.ir/news/1499049#sthash.ayedo7KW.fpyjnUdo.dpuf

In other interesting news, JP Morgan just can't seem to stay out of the hot seat for longer than 48 hours:

JPMorgan Looks to Pay to Settle U.S. Inquiries

JPMorgan Chase is pulling out its checkbook to help mend frayed relationships with the government.
But its new and conciliatory approach — a departure for the bank and its leader, Jamie Dimon, who generally has taken a hard line with the authorities — is yielding mixed results. Government officials, stung by the bank’s past displays of hubris, may drive up the price of settlements or resist the overtures altogether.
The hefty payouts started on Tuesday when JPMorgan struck a $410 million settlement with the nation’s top energy regulator, which had accused the bank of devising “manipulative schemes” to transform “money-losing power plants into powerful profit centers.” The agreement was a record fine for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, whose most recent settlement with a big bank totaled only $1.6 million.

JPMorgan is bracing for an even larger penalty stemming from shoddy mortgage securities it sold to the government.

But not to be outdone, The Bank of England is in hotter water when documents came showing that they were selling the Nazi's stolen gold for them!!!

And then there is this mess from Barclays......   Lovin' that CNN is outing MI5... I mean, "Barclays", teeheehee!

Barclays reveals £12.8 billion balance sheet hole

(Financial Times) -- Barclays has revealed a £12.8 billion ($19.6 billion) hole in its balance sheet as it announced a £5.8 billion rights issue, buttressed by a plan to shrink its balance sheet and issue £2 billion of contingent convertible debt.

Seriously?!  Can anyone even remotely translate that sentence into something that is understandable (let alone LEGAL).  I loved this part though- are you ready for this?

"Alongside the capital measures, the bank announced £2 billion of fresh mis-selling provisions, £1.35 billion to cover PPI and £650 million to cover interest rate swaps.

Barclays also announced second-quarter profits of £3.6bn on an adjusted pre-tax basis, down 17 per cent. Statutory pre-tax profit doubled to £1.7 billion, the bank said."

Now, THIS one is funny as all hell!!!  Considering the fact that PayPal have yet to manage to return my multiple emails or reset my password for me, let alone fix the issue I have with even being able to access my account!!..... I have a hard time taking them seriously on this one!!!  (I'm sure the Galactics are roaring laughing as well!)

Vets angry as federal lawyers argue Ottawa has no social obligation to soldiers

"At least one veterans group promises to campaign against the Harper Conservatives because of a stand taken by federal lawyers, who argue the country holds no extraordinary social obligation to ex-soldiers."

.... As a former Canadian Armed Forces Medic and a Harper Hater..... that one nearly made my head blew off.

And for those looking for more information about Iraq and the massive sell off of all the country's assets, I've put together a couple of very telling articles.

http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=7418

"JUHASZ: Yeah, there's been a long, very public fight, first started by the Bush administration, on behest of the oil companies that basically operated both within and without of the administration to utilize the invasion of Iraq as a way to open up Iraq to Western oil companies, which haven't been able to operate in Iraq since the 1970s nationalizations. And there were two methods that were pursued to do that. One was to get the Iraqis to pass a new national law, the Iraq oil law, that would lock in guaranteed market access, under incredibly lucrative terms to foreign companies, to foreign companies--basically, transition Iraq from a nationalized oil system to an all but privatized system. The fight over that law has been very public, and there has been great opposition to it by Iraqi parliamentarians, oil workers unions, civil society groups, people all around the world. And that battle is ongoing. At this very moment, the Iraqi Parliament is still debating trying to get law through, and still has been unable to do so. While that public process has gone on, a much quieter process has proceeded, which is a contracting process, a series of rounds opening up, contract by contract, new oil fields in Iraq to foreign companies. And this process has taken place using contract terms that are essentially the same as what is in the law, but in--contract by contract."
Unfortunately the US "Advisors" (controllers) made sure that directly written into the Constitution was a grandfather clause to insure that NO contracts signed during the occupation of Iraq (ie: selling off all Iraq's assets, commodities and mineral rights) could be over turned by any future Iraqi government!!  Nice, eh?

Western oil firms remain as US exits Iraq

The end of the US military occupation does not mean Iraqis have full control of their oil.
http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2011/12/2011122813134071641.html
"Dr Abdulhay Yahya Zalloum, an international oil consultant and economist who has spent nearly 50 years in the oil business in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, agrees that western oil companies have "obtained concessions in Iraq's major [oil] fields", despite "there being a lack of transparency and clarity of vision regarding the legal issues".
Dr Zalloum added that he believes western oil companies have successfully acquired the lions' share of Iraq's oil, "but they gave a little piece of the cake for China and some of the other countries and companies to keep them silent"."
...note that he doesn't mention any Iraqi companies nor the Iraqi government

I HIGHLY recommend reading the below article in it's entirety if you really want to understand just how fucked Iraq is and what the US has done to insure that they have complete control of the entire country.

Looting By Another Name

The Corporate Takeover of Iraq’s Economy

http://www.counterpunch.org/2006/05/10/the-corporate-takeover-of-iraq-s-economy/

"To further embed a U.S. corporate economy in Iraq, the Iraq Constitution contained provisions that approve the Bremer Orders. The new Iraqi Constitution specifically repealed the Transitional Administrative Law, but did no such thing for Bremer’s Orders and therefore they continue to be the law of the land. Thus, U.S. corporations continue their hold on the reconstruction of Iraq, and U.S. contractors continue to have full immunity from prosecution in Iraq. Beyond that, several articles of the Constitution re-enforce the Bremer Orders, e.g. Article 25 requires "modern economic principles that insure the full investment of its resources, diversification of its sources and the encouragement and development of the private sector; Article 26 "guarantees the encouragement of investment in various sectors," Article 27 allows for the privatization of state property. Juhasz points out that modern economic principles means corporate globalization and the market principles of the Bremer Orders, and private investment means foreign investment.  ...

The method being used for U.S. control of Iraq’s oil is Production Sharing Agreements. PSA’s favor private companies at the expense of exporting governments as the entire exploration, drilling and infrastructure-building process are turned over to private companies in contracts that last twenty-five to forty years. These contracts lock in the laws at the time the contract is signed. Thus contracts signed now would have the Bremer Orders as their law no matter what a future Iraqi government did......

Interim Prime Minister Allawi submitted guidelines for Iraq’s new petroleum law in September 2004. The guidelines put "an end to the centrally planned and state-dominated Iraq economy" and urged the "Iraqi government to disengage from running the oil sector." Further, he recommended privatization stating the industry "should be exclusively based in the private sector, that domestic wholesale and retail marketing of petroleum products should be gradually transferred to the private sector, and that major refinery expansions or grassroots refineries should be built by the local and foreign private sectors." Finally, Allawi called for all undeveloped oil and gas fields to be turned over to private international oil companies. This, at a time when only seventeen of Iraq’s eighty known oil fields have been developed. Article 109 of the Iraq Constitution re-enforces this goal stating that the federal government only administers existing oil and gas fields. The plans for a new Iraq petroleum law were made public at a press conference in Washington, DC by Adel Abdul Mahdi, formerly the Finance Minister, and now a Deputy President of Iraq.

Legions

Legions

03/26/2013

Picture
In most of my writing I am careful to only present information I can support with other documentation. But today I am going out on a limb.

My life has been dedicated to researching reality since I was 15 and they killed President Kennedy and then lied about it. Along the way I have been guided in this research. Who is guiding me, I cannot be certain. It may be my “Higher Self” or soul or perhaps ET’s or Angelic or Ascended Beings communicating telepathically. But after 50 years I have come to trust those voices in my head guiding me to an understanding of what reality is really all about.

My first assumption without absolute proof is that Bill Brockbrader told us the truth. Americans attacked Iraq between 1992-2000 and the targets were people not military facilities, with Tomahawk missiles being guided in the final minutes by laser operated by U.S. Seal teams.

Now that is a hell of a lot of missiles at the cost of $1.3 million per missile. And why did we not hear Saddam Hussein screaming about the attacks? Could it have been that the American targets were also a threat to Hussein? But why would poor people of Iraq be dangerous to anyone? If the U.S. was trying to illicit hate for America to create terrorists that could then be used as the reason to attack Iraq, why would Hussein have remained silent for 8 years? Bottom line: what threat was posed by the people of Iraq?

Assumption #2 is that the human body is just a shell for energy bodies and an awakened energy body possesses extraordinary power. One person awakened and able to access “super” powers is a dangerous thing. But an entire region full of people who can access super powers and knowledge would pose a critical threat to any one wanting to control the 3-D.

Assumption #3 is that Earth has been influenced for eternity by other civilizations. While there is undisputable proof of this, there is also a seeming lack of any major proof in the form of technological devices that may have been left behind. But if you leave such a device, for whatever reason, you may have destroyed them or hidden them.

Assumption #4: You did leave them and you did hide them and you also left a mission for the “humans” left behind. They were to protect these devices at all costs. And these people would have had access to knowledge that would give them “super” powers. The guardians would have passed the mission and knowledge down through generations.

Yes this certainly sounds like science fiction. But one thing Bill said that has opened the door to this concept of a people protecting knowledge and powers was the statement made by the Head Elder of a small Iraqi village. The village housed about 35 nomadic type people. Where did the Head Elder get the information he told Bill that  there was an imminent attack planned using pilots? Was it from Al-Qaeda sources who knew of the planned attack on the Twin Towers?

I do not believe Al-Qaeda had anything to do with 9/11 and have written a book to explain why. So Assumption #5 is that the Head Elder had access to information from sources NOT of the 3-D type. Perhaps a psychic had relayed the information. Or perhaps the Head Elder had descended from a group of people left behind to protect technological devices that could see into the future. For whatever reason, that Elder related the information to Bill who passed it on and the result was total destruction of that village and probably everyone that had lived there.

If I am making the right assumptions, the attacks were directed against a group of people who were much more powerful than most can imagine. They had been protecting Ancient Knowledge for thousands of years, generation after generation. Before a technological device of the likes of a Stargate could be “found”, those keeping it hidden had to be destroyed.

The fact Stargates and other technological wonders existed has been known maybe for thousands of years. Certainly Adolf Hitler knew of them when he sent his forces to find them. Hussein probably had control over some of them and knew what they were, although he was not able to access their powers. There is ample documentation that other groups throughout the world knew they existed. But they could not be found because totally committed humans were hiding them - and I believe their ability to hide them came from an ability to prevent the devices from being found by what we might call psychic interference.

The reason I am rushing to finish this post is because of something Eva Moore was told by a psychic.  (Assumption #6 is that the psychic was accurate.) Eva was told she had access to legions but did not know how to access them. My suggestion is that those legions are the poor, seemingly powerless Iraq people who the U.S. waged a secret war against while Hussein stood by silently watching.

In a matter of hours Bill is going to stand before a judge to declare himself a free man. We - those who have stood in support of both Bill and Eva will be there focusing our conscious level thoughts and heart energies on him. May I humbly suggest that we call upon those legions awaiting recognition and an invitation to assist with those powers that did not die when their human bodies were destroyed. They are immortal. Bill is their only way of being heard. But an open invitation by enlightened and ascending beings - and that my friends would be you and me - can ground their powers to protect and defend Gaia and those who are her Light Workers.

CNN fingers the media and political lies on the Iraq War

Disclosure and the beginnings of truth.... from CNN no less, lol!

There is much that is not being said in this article- such as outlining that 90% of the global media is owned by 5 people who are all controlled by the banksters and Cabal(s), but this is one of the strongest finger pointings at the media that I've read in a while, especially from CNN.

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
  • Paul Waldman: Rumsfeld remarks in push for Iraq War were classic doublespeak
  • He says reporters, who are supposed to be quick studies in new areas, were credulous
  • He says savvy Bush administration easily duped press into selling case for war
  • Waldman: All news media guilty but hope is that they learned from, won't repeat mistake

(CNN) -- In February 2002, when the Bush administration's campaign to win support for invading Iraq was gathering steam, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was asked at a news conference about insinuations that Saddam Hussein was in cahoots with al Qaeda, a collaboration for which there was no evidence.
Rumsfeld's response may not have been illuminating, but it was certainly memorable. "Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me," he said, "because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know."
As we approach the 10th anniversary of that invasion, Rumsfeld's musings provide a helpful reminder for members of the news media. When the next war debate comes, our first step ought to be to take careful stock of what we know and what we don't.

Journalists regularly have to take crash courses in new subjects. When the economy imploded in 2008, many of us who write about public affairs found ourselves addressing economic matters in greater detail than ever before. To write intelligently about health care reform in 2009, you had to get up to speed on how things such as the health insurance market and Medicare work, and a hundred other details.
When a new topic is inherently opaque -- such as the internal politics of a country most journalists could barely find on a map, or the complex consequences of starting a war in a region where U.S. foreign policy is widely reviled -- we should know more than ever about our own personal known unknowns and unknown unknowns.
That didn't happen in 2002 and 2003. The campaign to sell the Iraq War was a carefully planned and skillfully executed propaganda effort, and it succeeded because so many journalists and news outlets went along for the ride.

To be fair to the news media, they were up against an administration using diabolically clever techniques. To take just one example, in the fall of 2002, the administration leaked a story to The New York Times' Judith Miller claiming that Iraq had purchased aluminum tubes clearly intended for use in centrifuges to enrich uranium for nuclear weapons.
The truth, as we later found out, was that there was no Iraqi nuclear program, and the tubes in question would have been virtually useless for one. They were meant for conventional rockets. But the administration knew the exclusive would be too juicy for Miller to pass up. Her credulous account, passing all the administration's false claims on as a "scoop," appeared on the Times front page on September 8.
Vice President Dick Cheney then went on "Meet the Press" that very day and said, "It's now public that in fact he has been seeking to acquire, and we have been able to intercept and prevent him from acquiring, through this particular channel, the kinds of tubes that are necessary to build a centrifuge." So the administration planted a false story in the Times, then cited the false story on NBC, using the Times' imprimatur to bolster its credibility. That is some Jedi-level media manipulation.

Every major news organization, from national newspapers to television networks to magazines, was complicit to some degree in selling the public a brief of false information, from Hussein's allegedly terrifying arsenal of weapons of mass destruction to the fictional links between the Iraqi government and al Qaeda.
It wasn't that you couldn't find journalists questioning the official story, raising doubts about the administration's claims, and doing the hard work to determine what the truth was. You always can. Whenever there's a story that the media as a whole get wrong, there's always a reporter somewhere who got it right. The problem was that those voices were so much quieter, pushed so far to the edge of the national debate.
Even within some publications there was a tension. One of the journalistic heroes of the pre-war period was Washington Post national security reporter Walter Pincus, who reported the lack of evidence for the administration's hype. But his articles were buried deep within the paper, while the front page blared scary stories about the fearsome threat from Iraq and the Post's editorial page beat the drums for war. Asked later why his stories were shunted to the back pages, Pincus responded, "The Post was scared."
And so were much of the media. When there's a war in the offing, the flags are waving and dissenters are being called treasonous, the media's courage tends to slip away. Which is particularly regrettable, since the time when the government is pressing for war should be the time when they are more aggressive than ever, exploring every possibility and asking every question, over and over again if need be. That's the time when government is most likely to dissemble and deceive. That was when we most needed the press, and when its failure was the most costly.
So the next time people in power propose a new war -- and they will -- journalists need to ask some important questions. What are the limits of our understanding of this country we might invade? What are the motivations of the people pushing for the action? What evidence is the government offering to support its claims? Are there knowledgeable people who disagree, and what are they saying? Which of the government's claims have I investigated myself, and which am I taking on face value? What are the potential consequences of military action, good and bad, and have I explored them in enough detail? And in the context of Iraq, which questions do I wish I had asked last time around?
That's just a start, of course. Perhaps lessons have been learned, and the next time a president warns the American people that we have no choice but to invade another country or risk our doom, the press will do a better job of being skeptical, thoughtful and rigorous than it did 10 years ago. It couldn't do much worse.

Assange, Ecuador, and the Big Bad Wolf

I genuinely enjoy learning something new, and reading this article opened a door to an entirely new package of information that I was clueless about 30 minutes ago.  I guarantee that as soon as I have the time, I will be investigating the events of Dec 2008 in Ecuador.

Everyone  should read this, as it is another example of yet another country that said screw you to the thieving central bankers and their agencies of force. It also give much greater understand as to WHY the American and British governments are gnashing their teeth because they can't get at Julian Assange and WHY he is seeking shelter in the Ecuador embassy in England.

The Change is Beginning by Nicola di Cora Modigliani

Marilyn Barnewall sent this to us and considers it very important!!  This is significant.  Think of the doors of opportunity it opens for disposing of United States debt by using the immoral debt concept – the precedent for which was established by President George W. Bush.

Today we talk of geo-politics and the freedom of information. But what is happening today technically (i.e. politically) began on December 12, 2008, though some say September of that year, but it took four years for the shock waves to reach Europe and America.  The issue relates to Julian Assange, Wikileaks, and the Republic of Ecuador.  Mind you, it was assumed in the entire American continent, Australia, and Europe that the world was the same as ten years ago. But the world does not work that way anymore.
In Italy, no one was told of the fight growing between Brazil and the United Nations, badly managed by Christine Lagarde who heads the International Monetary Fund, whereby Italy was officially relegated from the eighth largest to the ninth largest economy in the world. It was overtaken by Brazil. So at the next G8, Italy will not be invited, but Brazil will. So we had the decision to abolish the G8 and G10 becoming the new standard.
Europe, with England and Germany at the helm, simply cannot accept the “Keynesian” triumph of South America. In essence the western guideline remains: “Let them stay home and remain grateful that we let them survive like the Africans. Otherwise one by one they will all end like Gadhafi.”
This is the warning in a nutshell So, quietly, South America has in the last 40 days sent three powerful messages; the last and most important was on August 3, and it was televised live from the New York office of the International Monetary Fund. Now for some facts.
On June 15, 2012, Julian Assange understands that for him it’s over. He knows that he will be arrested in Stockholm, picked up at the airport, not by police forces of His Majesty the King of Sweden, but by two officers of the CIA and a US diplomat, using specific formal agreements between the two nations to claim that Assange “actively intervened” in the NATO conflict in Iraq while the war was in progress. He will then be taken directly to the US, to the state of Texas, and subjected to criminal prosecution for terrorist activities. There will be a demand for the death penalty based on the provisions of the Patriot Act.
So Assange consults with his group, and at 9 am on June 19, enters the Embassy of Ecuador. His team opens negotiations with British agents in London, with the Swedes in Stockholm, and American diplomats in Rio de Janeiro. They agree to let the Olympics pass, after which he can quietly go to South America, ‘just do not talk about it, but somehow they don’t trust the Anglo-Americans and rightly so and they carry out two masterstrokes on August 3 and 4.
On August 3, 2012, 16 months ahead of schedule, Argentina President, Cristina Kirchner, arrives at the headquarters of the IMF in Manhattan, accompanied by Finance Minister and Foreign Minister of Ecuador, Patino, representing ‘Alba’ (Labour Alianza Bolivariana America), the economic union between Latin America and the Caribbean.
On that occasion, Kirchner hands a check of €12 billion to the IMF (whose loan was due on December 31, 2013). She announces that with this installment, Argentina has shown itself to be solvent, to be a responsible nation, trusted and reliable for anyone who wants to invest money. Argentina in 2003 went in default of $112 billion, but refused to seek cancellation of the debt; it declared bankruptcy and sought 10 years to return the money, including interest.
For ten years, Argentina fought IMF’s attempts to impose restrictive measures of economic austerity. It opted for a different path, in line with Keynesianism, and based on financing infrastructure, research, innovation, instead of cutting expenditure.  It recovered and it paid off the last installment of the IMF loan 16 months in advance. It thus proved once more that the ideas of the IMF and World Bank on economic ideas are noxious and wrong-headed. TINA (“There is no alternative”) is a lie forced upon the majority of the world’s population by the oligarchic elites.
Fifteen minutes after making the payment, Kirchner lodges a formal complaint against the US and UK to the World Trade Organization, on the basis of files made available by Wikileaks/Assange.
Argentina, having settled the debts, now wants damages, with compound interest. It’s a fight between Kirchner and Lagarde. Thanks to Assange, his team has the transcripts of several conversations in different governments of the globe, involving the US, Britain, France, Italy, Germany, and the Vatican, where money is the master. Osama Bin Laden has been sent to the attic and replaced as the arch villain by John Maynard Keynes in the minds of the financial hegemons.
Assange has become public enemy number one of the great powers since he has gained the classified records of these long conversations about how to cripple the economies of South America, how to take away their energy resources and prevent their recovery; how to prevent their governments from pushing through Keynesian economic plans instead of applying the dictates of the IMF, whose sole purpose is to pursue a neo-colonialist policy principally for the benefit of Spain, Italy and Germany, with British capital.
Most files have already been published on the internet. Those and others were handed over by Assange in Britain to the Ecuadorian ambassador there.
On August 3 in New York, Ecuador became the first nation in the Americas and the only nation in the Western world since 1948, to apply the concept of “immoral debt” or the political and technical refusal to pay foreign debts because they were made by previous governments through corruption, in violation of constitutional laws and requirements.
On December 12, 2008, Rafael Correa the new president of Ecuador (whose GDP is around € 50 billion, or 30 times less than Italy’s) announced on television that he had decided to cancel the national debt considering it illegal, because it violated the constitution to oppress the people. Today in Ecuador, the new constitutional principle is that what is right for the community is legitimate.
Amount of debt: € 11 billion. The IMF literally expunged Ecuador from the list of civilized nations. “The country is isolated,” declared Dominique Strauss-Kahn, then IMF Director General.
The very next day, Hugo Chavez announced that Venezuela would contribute free oil and gas to Ecuador for ten years. Four hours later, President Lula announced that Brazil would give 100 tons/day of wheat, rice, soy and fruit free to feed the population, for a long as the nation takes to recover. In the evening, Argentina announced it would give 3% of its beef production free to Ecuador to ensure adequate protein for the population. The next morning, in Bolivia, Evo Morales announced the legalization of cocaine for domestic production and collection, and free coca leaves to Ecuador with a loan of 5 billion interest-free, repayable in ten years in 120 installments.
Two days later, Ecuador denounced the United Fruit Company and Del Monte & Associates for “slavery and crimes against humanity”, nationalized the agricultural industry in bananas (Ecuador is the world’s biggest banana exporter) and launched a national organic label.
Ten days later, Bavarian Green of Schleswig Holstein, Conad in Italy, and Denmark, and Haagen Daaz were prepared to sign contracts with the new entity on the basis of “fair trade”. On December 20, 2008, taking note of the protest of the United Fruit Company,President George Bush (still in office until January 17, 2009), denounced the ‘criminal decision’ of Ecuador and called for its expulsion from the United Nations.
Bush said that the US was even ready for a ‘military option to safeguard US interests.’ The next morning, the powerful New York law firm of Goldberg & Goldberg submitted that there was a legal precedent for Ecuador’s action.  Six hours later, the US gave up and called on the international community to challenge the legitimacy of the concept of “immoral debt.”
The United Fruit Company has a record in systematic political corruption; it was ordered to pay damages of $6 billion.
Interestingly, the legal precedent was dated January 4, 2003, and signed by George Bush. Yep, this happened in Iraq, which at that time was ‘technically’ an American possession since it was occupied by US forces and the interim government was not yet recognized by the UN. Saddam Hussein had left debts of € 250 billion (€ 40 billion against Italy, thanks to the transactions concluded by Tareq Aziz, deputy to Hussein and an ally of Vatican’s Opus Dei), which the US erased by applying the concept of “immoral debt,” thus creating the recent historical precedent.
New York lawyers for the government of Ecuador offered Washington a choice: either accept and be silent or if you challenge the decision of Ecuador then also cancel yours for Iraq and get the US Treasury to immediately pay the € 250 billion, including compound interest for four years. Obama, not yet in office but already elected, asked Bush to throw in the towel. The New York lawyers are paid by the Brazilian government.
Rafael Correa, Ecuador’s president-elect, is not a farmer like Morales, or trade unionist like Lula, or a military officer like Chavez; he comes from an upper class family and is an intellectual. He is a graduate in economics and economic planning from Harvard, and self-described as a “Christian socialist”. His first official act was to freeze all bank accounts of the Church’s IOR in Quito’s banks and divert the amount into a social welfare program for the economically disadvantaged.
He put on trial the entire political class of the previous government, most of whom were sent to jail, with average sentences of 10 years, confiscated their property and nationalized it and redistributed it in ecological agricultural cooperatives. Correa sent a letter to Pope Ratzinger in which he called himself “always the humble servant of Your Enlightened Holiness” and in which he officially bade the Vatican send to Ecuador only “clerics gifted with deep spirituality and eager to serve the needy, avoiding profiteers who would incur the rigor of human laws.”
Today, the new South America says ‘no’ to colonialism and slavery of the European and US multinationals. For 400 years, ever since Europeans discovered bananas rich in potassium, Ecuadorians have lived in poverty, exploitation and destitution, while for hundreds of years a group of brutal oligarchs got rich at their expense; it is no longer the case and it never will be again. The example of Ecuador is alive and can be replicated in any African or Asian, or European, nation in the world.
But the decisive blow to the system was a bombshell made public on August 4, 2012, when Julian Assange assigned the Spanish judge Garzón, the public enemy number one of organized crime, the most ferocious enemy of Silvio Berlusconi, and absolutely the most dangerous enemy of the global banking system, to defend him.
The Spanish judge has 35 years’ experience and has been responsible for the prosecution of the most important cases of his country for the past 25 years. He is an expert in ‘media and finance,’ and rose to international prominence in 1993 after Interpol issued a warrant on his behalf against Silvio Berlusconi and Fedele Confalonieri (Berlusconi’s right hand man) regarding transactions involving Telecinco, Pentafilm, Fininvest, Reteitalia and La Cinq.
From this it came out that the Pentafilm (Berlusconi and Cecchi Gori members, namely PD and PDL together) bought at $100 the rights of a film that it sold to Columbia Pictures for $500, to Telecinco that sold them at $1,000 to an Italian network which then ultimately sold for $2,000 to Rai, and so on a total of 142 times — the same film.
That is, the Rai (or us) paid the rights to a film 20 times the value of the market and bought it three times, so that all parties were taken care of.  When it came to the crux of the matter, Berlusconi was Prime Minister and so Garzón was stopped by the European Union. He got a half victory. He closed the Telecinco and sent its Spanish executives to jail. In 2003 the battle re-opened, with Berlusconi’s new front Mediaset.
In 2006, the Italian government at the time (Prodi & Co.) helped Berlusconi to escape conviction. In 2004, Garzon opened a dossier against Pope Wojtyla and against the management of the IOR in Spain and Argentina, in relation to funding and support from the Vatican to the military juntas of Pinochet and Videla in South America.
In 2010 Garzón resigned under pressure from the Spanish Government, but before he retired, he opened a law firm dedicated exclusively to international ‘media & finance’ in The Hague, The Netherlands. And now as official legal eagle to Assange, judge Garzón has access to 145,000 files still in possession of Julian Assange that have not been made public. He has already made it known that his office is prepared to denounce several Western heads of state to the court of civil rights in The Hague. The charge will be ‘crimes against humanity, crimes against the dignity of the person.’...
