Herein lies the truth of "Politics".
I try to not be a Negative Nancy. I try to not always look for the holes in the logic. I try to not always scrutinize every word and action of the players ... but really, I can't help myself.
It comes down to that old saying: "Fool me once,..."
Here is the point I want to make. Maybe some of these guys really DO get into politics to try and "save the world". Maybe some of these guys actually DO have great ideas, big plans on how to implement them and an amazing dream of the changes they want to make.....
.... But the moment that they step into the ring with "The Big Boys", 95% of these visionaries are crushed.
Now, whether Syriza was a group of "Visionaries" or just another cabal player on the scene, the actions/reactions that they caused has sent large ripples through the political and economic circles. Once these ripples are set into motion, "they" can no longer control them and all they can do is stand back and watch the effect that these ripples and waves have on everything they touch, and then react to the situations that are created by these waves of change.
The Greek gentleman who writes his apology below to the Greek people, has obviously just learned the truth of the game. The controllers always need passionate and charismatic people to front their "movements" and "organizations", because the masses of humanity ARE actually waking up, whether they know it or not, and they are naturally gravitating towards the people they feel a bond with and they instinctively "trust". Hence you have true patriots, visionaries, and gamechangers put in front of the masses to lead them. But as I said, the moment the vast majority of these true Wayseers enter the ring of the "big boys" they usually end up SEEing the truth of the game: that it's all rigged.
But the game doesn't have to end this way. The trick is to take out the referees and the coaches and the management, and tear up their "rule books" and "Play books"....
..... and then create a whole new game.
If you can't win by their rules.... then perhaps it's time to create our own rules.

As the divergence between Syriza's leadership perspective on debt talks - "success...won the battle" - and the Greek voters - "It looks to me that nothing has changed" - grows ever wider, and on the heels of apparent near mutiny last week, there is growing division in the ranks of the newly elected party. Syriza MEP Manolis Glezos penned a stunning rebuke of the party's apparent U-turn and asks his electorate for forgiveness... "there can be no compromise between oppressor and oppressed... Pity, and pity again... I apologize to the Greek people because I have contributed to this illusion... before it is too late, let us react!"
In an article uploaded on the website of his Movement for Active Citizens, Keep Talking Greece notes Manolis Glezos - the historic member of the Greek left (best known for his participation in the World War II resistance) - expresses his deep disappointment about the way Syriza handles with the negotiations and calls for party members to decide if they accept this situation.

As KeepTalkingGreece reports, to Glezos’ sharp criticism, Syriza reacted rather cool and with respect to the senior veteran.Before it is too late, let us react.
Syriza members, friends and supporters at all levels of organizations should decide in extraordinary meetings whether they accept this situation.
Some argue that to reach an agreement, you have to retreat. First: there can be no compromise between oppressor and oppressed. Between the slave and the occupier is the only solution is Freedom.
