About the threat in the Nuclear facilities- 26 of which were in the path of Sandy:

The unit at Oyster Creek is the same as Fukushima Daiichi No. 1: “Oyster Creek is one of the oldest US nuclear plants and is the same design as Fukushima unit 1.”-SimplyInfoRemember, Fukushima reactor number 4 was shut down for maintenance when the Japanese earthquake hit.  And yet the fuel pools at reactor 4 are in such precarious condition that they pose a giant threat to humanity.

Now, I've hinted at one of the reasons for the shut down of the NY Stock Exchange.  Let's face it, they didn't have any damage in the NYSE (regardless of what CNN said, lol), they could of kept the electronic trading sections opened, and that was the original plan as of Sunday night, but suddenly in the middle of the night, they decided to close down all trading with no notice.

...Why would they close it?  Is it because they powers that be knew it would crash on Monday?  Many of my sources warned of exactly that happening.  And if you're going to be doing certain things in the financial sector, it's that much easier to make changes if the Markets are not open, right?  The market has been artificially propped up for a long long time. In order to "fix" things, some of that "propping" needs to disappear, back into the pit from whence it came.  

With all of America's eyes on the projected (snort) path, and then the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, it gives the main stream media a reason to beat the storm drum and distract people from other news that's happening... can you say "Benghasigate"?

Right now, the truth of what actually happened (or at least, a slightly sterile version of the truth), is being leaked to the media and to the public.  What many people do not realize is the ginormous magnitude of this of the truth of what happened in Benghasi. 

Don't get me wrong- I do NOT like this guy and do not endorse him- BUT the information in this video is vital for people to understand the epic issues that engulf this situation.

Several sources have told me that this information- that O and the White House KNEW the attack was happening on the CIA outpost in Benghazi, and they refused to protect or help CIA Op "Ambassador" Stevens and the other Americans in the safe house- has been deliberately leaked to the media to force O's hand.  He didn't follow through with what he was suppose to do.  So they turned up the heat and next step in the "leaks" has kicked in. You might want to listen to these reports closely to watch for the expanding allegations and leaks and where they lead.  

These are fully arrestable and indictable offences. This is jail time. 

Add to this, the $43 Trillion Dollar Lawsuit - and if you think it's not real, then ask your self why the two young children of CNBC executive were murdered one day after CNBC broke the story in the main stream media, and then the story was immediately removed from their web site.

Add to this the fact that the news was broke that a Citizens Grand Jury has indicted both Biden and Obama:

So let's get back to Hurricane Sandy.  It was driven for a purpose. Even the name "Frankenstorm" strongly hints at the creation of this abomination. People lost their lives, their houses and property. Citizens- in several countries- are now without electricity in a season where the cold is seeping in. The death toll is now over 50 since Sandy's inception.  There are repercussions in the nuclear power industry that are very worrying.  There is the, albeit slight, chance that the elections will be delayed due to the power outages and the clean up in the aftermath of Sandy.

Sad news: the HMS Bounty sank off of the coast of N. Carolina yesterday- the Coast Guard are still searching for the Captain who went down with the ship

Hyre said the area of the search is about 83 square kilometres off the coast of North Carolina, close to where the crew decided to abandon ship after getting caught in 5.5-metre seas.

The Bounty sank several hours after the evacuation.

The 16 crew members of HMS Bounty tried to get to covered life-rafts but three of them were washed overboard in the process. One of the three people made it to the life-raft and was among the 14 people hoisted onto helicopters and taken to shore.

Frankenstorm: Is it Live, or is it Memorex?

Well.... where I am, up in Great Lakes area near Erie, we are getting hit with heavy winds with gusts that are rattling the windows. And rain, but not much of that. So I can attest that where I am the weather is definitely cold and nasty.

I have been checking it since 6am est (sleep is my nemesis) and while it's obviously damp, a few puddles here and there, there is no water running in the streets, no flooding. The flags are not ripping in the wind, people are now walking around, calmly sauntering along- not struggling in the wind, no one's coat is flapping, no one's hat is blowing off, and it's obviously not raining at the moment.

They are showing constant clips of raging snow storms, house fires, ambulances with sirens blaring, trees down, water flooding down streets.... with a litany of reporters talking about giant waves washing ashore, and how bad it all was. Reporting electrical outages in NY. Various mayors and government officials asking for a declaration of "disaster".

Report :
There was no flood in this area except for east river from the interview with police officers.
Also, cardboards left on the street showed at least they were not flooded. Dead leaves were accumulated on the street, which also shows there was no flood in the area.
There was no black out along Bedford Ave and Manhattan Ave.
Only just one pole was found down on the street. Some bars and convenient stores were open with customers.
I saw 5~10 people walking on the street every 30 seconds.
I was more scared of police.
The wind was strong sometimes, I had spotty rain too. The rain was not salty like typhoon in Japan.
Subways were closed but the platform was not flooded, which you can see from the multiple dry paper trashes on the floor.
Pavement under the arcades were already drought.

I'm listening to the live feed of The Weather Network while writing this and a reporter just said that they turned off the power in Manhattan on purpose.

All public transportation in NY closed down, all businesses closed- including the Stock Exchange.  Military with their equipment all over the place.  We know that the military is crawling all over Washington DC.  The Main Stream Media has just announced that Obama has just up and left Florida to "head back to DC to monitor Hurricane Sandy".....
....Seriously?  They are flying INTO the storm?  I highly doubt that he's heading to DC.

Tectonic summary by USGS

The October 28th, 2012 (October 27 at the location of the epicenter) M 7.7 earthquake south of Masset, Canada, occurred as a result of oblique-thrust faulting near the plate boundary between the Pacific and North America plates. At the location of this event, the Pacific plate moves approximately north-northwest with respect to the North America plate at a rate of approximately 50 mm/yr.This earthquake is likely associated with relative motion across the Queen Charlotte fault system offshore of British Columbia, Canada. Studies of tectonics in this region suggest plate motions are taken up by strike slip faulting parallel to the plate boundary, accompanied by lesser amounts of thrust motion to accommodate the oblique nature of the plate motion vector between the two plates with respect to the orientation of the main plate boundary fault structure. This oblique component of plate motion may involve either underthrusting of the western edge of the Pacific Plate beneath North America, or be taken up on crustal faults within the North America plate. The October 28th earthquake is consistent with either scenario. Its rupture extended approximately 100-150 km along strike, along the shallow extent of the source fault. Slip amounts reached approximately 5m, in a patch to the south of the epicenter. Aftershocks delineate the rupture well, as shown here.

This region of the Pacific:North America plate boundary has hosted 7 earthquakes of magnitude 6 or greater over the past 40 years – the largest of which was a M 6.6 earthquake in 2009, 80 km to the south east of the 2012 earthquake. In 1949, a M 8.1 earthquake occurred closer to the Pacific:North America plate boundary, likely as a result of strike-slip faulting, approximately 100 km northwest of the October 28th earthquake, near the northern extent of Haida Gwaii region (formerly Queen Charlotte Islands). Summary report.

A question for the techies/meteorological wizards

I have a question about HAARP and would appreciate any input that my very knowledgeable readers can provide. I'm not a scientist, so when I get into the deeper theoretical questions some of this information goes way over my head:  Please, simple explanations, preferably using words with 3 syllables or less, lol.

Is it possible to fake HAARP readings?  As in, would it be possible to put out another type of signal that would be confused with a genuine HAARP signal? It there any other type of signal/wave being used regularly that could be confused with HAARP activity?

Since the first 7.7 M earthquake last night, there has been a constant earthquake swarm- 33 quakes between 4.0 -5.1 Magnitude quakes.

Further to my article yesterday, "Sandy, the perfect storm?... but perfect for who?", the Intel Hub has put out an article with more details on the "Frankenstorm" and the preparations being made by the White House, FEMA, Homeland Security and NOAA.

Contrary to what some people think, this is not "fear porn", this is reality checking.  Regardless of whether or not this is a natural storm or a man-made storm, it is still a super storm.  Be safe, be wise, be prepared. This is not a joking matter.  Many of the people that end up dead in hurricane and storm situations like this end up so because they are not prepared.  During Katrina, there were people who died through negligence, and people who died because they did not have vital medications on hand that they needed- things like insulin are not easily accessible when there is a storm raging and people running in panic.  Same with infant formula- if there is no water available how do you make up formula?  

Besides having supplies on hand- food, water, warm clothing, medicines, gasoline, etc... one of the most important parts of being prepared for a natural disaster is having  "A Plan"- if you are away from home where will you meet?  If you can't get home (think blocked or flooded roads) where is your secondary meet up point? If your job is any distance away from your kids school, do you have someone lined up to get your kids from school and look after them till you can get there? If you have to leave the area, do you know several different routes?

Be prepared.

The Politics and True Threat of Hurricane ‘Sandy’

VIRGINIA — Mitt Romney cancelled one of three campaign stops this Sunday in reaction to the recent weather threat presented by hurricane “Sandy” which is predicted to affect parts of the eastern seaboard, thus stopping Romney from appearing at the Virginia Beach rally he had previously scheduled.

Meanwhile, President Obama has already been briefed on the storm as of late Wednesday and east coast residents are urged to monitor local weather reports for what is being called a “super storm”.

With Sandy’s wide wind field of 550 plus miles merging with a polar air mass over the eastern US, things could get pretty rough.

The storm also has the potential to bring massive amounts of rain and snow.

An excerpt from the New York Times reads, “The storm is also expected to dump as much as 10 inches of rain in the area where it makes landfall and to create a significant storm surge that will lead to flooding throughout a large coastal area, perhaps most seriously in Delaware, forecasters said.

“We expect a long-lasting event — two to three days for most people,” said James Franklin, branch chief of the National Hurricane Center in a conference call on Friday. It is, Mr. Franklin said, “a very large system.”

On Friday morning, the hurricane tore through the Bahamas with 100-m.p.h. winds, after killing at least 28 people in the Caribbean. By noon, the system was moving north out of the Bahamas, as a Category 1 storm, with wind speeds of 80 m.p.h., Mr. Franklin said.

The hurricane is likely to turn northeast late Friday or Saturday, roughly parallel to the Carolina coast, forecasters said.”

This storm looks like it has the potential to knock power out in regions of the eastern US as most American’s are unprepared and will be blindsided by such an event.

Not to mention how a possible transportation shutdown could affect the economy.

Reuters reads (regarding the storm), “Its structure is evolving as we speak because it’s interacting with this weather feature at higher levels of the atmosphere,” said Todd Kimberlain, a forecaster at the National Hurricane Center in Miami.

“The models are suggesting that the storm could actually become better organized or intensify a little bit, not due to the normal processes than we would expect for a tropical cyclone but more related to this weather feature,” Kimberlain said.

On its current projected track, government forecasters said Sandy could make landfall early next week anywhere between Virginia, Maryland or Delaware up through New York or southern New England.

In New York City, the global financial hub, officials were considering closing down mass transit before the storm hits.”

If mass transit shuts down in New York and other areas because of a “super storm” things could get hairy as people are already on the edge in many ways.

The US government has forecast warnings that hurricane Sandy will be more violent in nature then last years Irene.

The White House released the following statement on the 26th of October entitled, Readout of the President’s Briefing on Hurricane Sandy reading:

“This morning, President Obama convened a call with FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate, National Hurricane Center Director Dr. Rick Knabb, and Homeland Security Advisor John Brennan to receive an update on Hurricane Sandy and ongoing federal actions to prepare for the storm as it continues to move toward the United States mainland.

The President directed Administrator Fugate to ensure that all available federal resources are being brought to bear to support state and local responders in potentially affected areas along the eastern seaboard as they prepare for the severe weather.

Impacts from the storm could be felt as early as this weekend, and FEMA is in close contact with state and local partners as the storm approaches.

At the request of states, FEMA is proactively deploying Incident Management Assistance Teams to multiple states up and down the Eastern seaboard to assist efforts as state and local partners prepare for the storm.

Because of the potential for significant power outages, FEMA is encouraging state and local authorities responsible for coordinating with local utility companies to do so ahead of any impacts. The President asked his team to continue to ensure there were no unmet needs and to keep him regularly updated on weather forecasts and hurricane preparations.”

FEMA has also made the following announcement:

“The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), through our regional offices in Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York City and Boston, continues to closely monitor Hurricane Sandy located in the eastern Caribbean Sea about 85 miles south-southeast of the central Bahamas with maximum sustained winds of 105 miles per hour, and remains in close coordination with state emergency management partners in Florida and the potentially affected southeast, Mid-Atlantic and New England states.

With hurricane season lasting through November 30, FEMA stands prepared and ready to support state, local, tribal and territorial partners in responding to storms. The agency has a federal coordinating officer and staff that are currently in Florida working previously declared disasters.  They continue to work closely with the state on recovery operations.

Regional Administrators and other senior officials in FEMA’s regional offices along the East Coast have been in contact with their state counterparts in order to ensure coordination for any emergency response. FEMA Incident Management Assistance Teams are on alert for potential deployment to states in order to help with coordination, should emergency response assistance be needed or requested. At all times, FEMA maintains commodities, including millions of liters of water, millions of meals and hundreds of thousands of blankets, strategically located at distribution centers throughout the United States and its territories, including Atlanta, Ga. and Frederick, Md., if needed and requested.

“As Hurricane Sandy proceeds closer toward southeast Florida, residents should listen to local officials for updates and follow their instructions,” urged FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate.  “As the storm moves northward, it serves as a reminder that we all need to be prepared for severe weather.  Now is the time to update your family communication plans, check your supplies, and stay informed.  A hurricane isn’t a point on a map – it’s a big storm and its impact will be felt far from the center. FEMA is in contact with states and tribal governments and stands ready to support their preparedness efforts.”

According to NOAA’s National Weather Service, Sandy is now a Category 2 hurricane expected to produce storm conditions along the east coast of Florida tonight and Friday.  Also, rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are possible across the Florida Keys into southeast and east-central Florida.  Tropical Storm watches and warnings issued by the National Weather Service remain in effect in southeast Florida.  Tropical Storm warnings are in effect for Florida east coast from Ocean Reef to Flagler Beach and Lake Okeechobee.  A Tropical Storm watch is in effect for the Florida east coast from  north of Flagler Beach to Fernandina Beach; for  the Florida Upper Keys from Ocean Reef southward to Craig Key; and Florida Bay.

FEMA urges residents in potentially impacted areas, including the Florida Keys, southern Florida peninsula to listen to NOAA Weather Radio and local news, monitor for severe weather updates and warnings, and follow instructions of local officials.  State and local officials make determinations and announcement about evacuations, and if local officials give the order to evacuate, leave immediately.  While the exact track of the storm is uncertain, according to the National Weather Service, storm conditions associated with Hurricane Sandy may impact additional states throughout the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast early next week.

While tropical storms are unpredictable, those in the possible path of the storm should be preparing. If you haven’t done so already, take the time now to put together a family emergency plan and emergency kit.  Some of the items in a basic emergency kit include: one gallon of water per person per day, for drinking and sanitation; at least a three-day supply of non-perishable food; battery-powered radio and a NOAA Weather Radio; flashlight and extra batteries; and First Aid kit.  Having a kit can help you weather the storm.....
